On Tuesday 28^th August, Harrison & Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store cattle at Lockerbie Mart. Top price today was Messrs Ker, Justenlees for a lovely Limousin cross bullock selling for £1410 closely followed by Messrs Wright, Hunthills topping the British Blue section with a topper of a bullock selling for £1180. Messrs Johnstone, Logan Mains topped the native section at £1140.

Heifers met a fantastic trade topping at £1400 for a smart Limousin cross heifer from Messrs Wright, Hunthills with Messrs Ker, Justenlees right behind at £1370.  

More cattle required to meet ever growing demand in Lockerbie.
