Kirkby Stephen Store Sheep Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd Kirkby Stephen held their fortnightly sale of store lambs. 

Topping the sale at £120 was a pen of Texel cross lamb from Messrs Bayles, Haithwaite, Barningham. This home also had pens to £117 and £114.

Dutch Spotted store lambs sold to £111 from Messrs Barnes, Wild Boar Barn, Mallerstang.

Mule lambs sold to £91.50 for a pen of twenty-five from Messrs Bousfield, Cranberry.

The majority of store lambs on offer were longer keep lambs.

Plenty more numbers of all types are needed and can be sold at ease to great advantage on a fortnightly basis here at Kirkby Stephen. 

Our next sale is on the 24^th September which includes a show for pens of ten Beltex cross store lambs, please advise of entries for the catalogue by Tuesday 17^th September.
