On Monday 23rd September Harrison & Hetherington held their sale of store lambs. A smaller show of 973 lambs were forward with more long keep lambs being forward for the sale. A sale average of £85.64 was achieved with vendors happy with the days trading. Topping the sale was a pen from first time vendors J G Johnstone, East Foreshields whose run of 84 averaged 114.48 topping at £128 for a pen of 4. Suffolks topped at £118 for a pen of 24 from the same home. Mules topped at £93 from Messrs Osborne, Parkhead.
