Kirkby Stephen Cast Cows & OTM Cattle

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly Sale of Cast and OTM cattle when 14 head were forward.

Topping the sale at £1635.65 was a seven year old Limousin cross cow which weighed 759kg and sold for 215.5p/kg from Messrs Sedgley, Low Bank House, Barbon. This same home also sold a Limousin cross cow weighing 717kg to make 224.5p/kg and £1609.67.

Topping at 239.5p/kg was a Limousin cross cow from Messrs Slack, Plumtree House, Newby.

Dairy cows sold to £1477.98 for a Holstein Friesian from Messrs Bell, Gill Gate, Leyburn, with this home also topping at 184.5p/kg for another Holstein Friesian.
