On Wednesday, 2^nd October Harrison and Hetherington held their monthly Beef Breeding sale at Borderway Mart.  A mixed show of breeding cattle was forward with a large keen ringside of buyers ensuring a good trade throughout.

Messrs Dickinson, High House Farm run of Limousin cross heifers and calves topped at £3050 and £3000. Messrs Dempster, Castlehill Farm run of Stock cows topped at £2800 and £2600 for Limousin cross cows and calves. Messrs Pattinson Temon sold the top priced British Blue bull for £3700.
