Harrison & Hetherington Ltd Kirkby Stephen held their fortnightly sale of store lambs.
Topping the sale at £116 was a pair of Beltex cross store lambs from Messrs Oldcorn, Sunnyside, Great Asby, with this home also selling to Beltex cross lambs to £110.
Raby Estates sold a pen of 22 Texel lambs to make £110.50. This home also sold pens of 17 Texel cross lambs to make £110 with a pen of 16 making £108. The consignment of 110 store lambs from Raby Estates sold to average £103.15.
A sale average of £84.85 was achieved with the majority of store lambs on offer been longer keep lambs
Plenty more numbers of all types are needed and can be sold at ease to great advantage on a fortnightly basis here at Kirkby Stephen.
