Borderway Weaned Cattle Sale

On Wednesday, 9^th October Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of weaned cattle.  A large show once again of 416 stirks were forward with a plainer show on offer resulting quality in demand.  Messrs Norman, Little Orton Farm run of Limousin bulls topped at £1580 and Messrs Cleasby, Linden House sold the top priced Charolais bull for £1400.  Messrs Todd, Wyndham House sold the top priced Blue x bull for £1200.  Messrs Dixon, Westfield sold the top priced Blue x heifer for £1420.  Messrs Taylor, Hallfoot sold a Limousin x heifer for £1420.  Messrs Hutton, Church View sold a Charolais bullock for £1270.
