Harrison & Hetherington Ltd Kirkby Stephen held their fortnightly sale of store lambs.
Topping the sale at £156 was a pair of Dutch Spotted store lambs from Messrs Pearson, Sunny Mount, Long Marton. With another pen of 11 from this home selling to make £100. The consignment of 42 Dutch Spotted store lambs from this home sold to average £95.17.
Messrs Medd, West Whorley Hill, Darlington sold a pen of seventeen Texel lambs to make £108.
Cheralyn Henderson, Cragg House Farm, Preston sold texel lamb to make £103.
Messrs Pearson, Sunny Mount also sold Mule lambs to make £80.0
A sale average of £85.12 was achieved with the majority of store lambs on offer been longer keep lambs.
Plenty more numbers of all types are needed and can be sold at ease to great advantage on a fortnightly basis here at Kirkby Stephen.
