Annual Show and Sale of Spring born Suckled Calves. 

All calves presented in super bloom.

Mr P.Dixon, Whitsome West Newton took charge of this years judging and awarded champion to Messrs Ross, Wester Middleton with a fabulous Charolais.x Bullock.  Reserve Champion went to the same home with a flashy Limousin.x Heifer.

Top pence per kilo went to Messrs Rennie, Sydenham at 517p per kilo for a smashing red Limousin.x Heifer.  This heifer also went on to be top price of the day at £1760
