Lazonby Store Lamb Sale

 On Thursday 31^st October, Lazonby held it’s fortnightly sale of store lambs in Lazonby Market. A total of 1102 went under the hammer to average £72.55 with a sale that has more than half Swaledale and hill bred sheep forward, vendors would be satisfied with the days trading. Topping the sale went to a M & A Faulder, Ewan Close, who sold 10 Beltex lambs to £150. The same home sold to £148, £145 and £139 for their run of 43 to average £141.95. Mules topped at £110 for a pair from Edwin Clarke, Howgill. Swaledales topped at £54 from JH Richardson, Underbank. Suffolk lambs topped at £98 from Messrs Lothian, Zetlands.
