On Monday 4^th November Harrison and Hetherington continued its weekly sale of store lambs in Borderway Mart.

A total of 1406 went under the hammer to average £90.91 which would be back on last weeks extravaganza. Breeding sheep topped at £120 for a Mule ewe from I Mcconnell, Dumfries selling for £120. T & AT Bowman, Brampton Fell sold 33 Mule gimmer lambs to £108.

A strong show of stores were forward with top price going to a pair of Texel lambs from Messrs Elliott, Spency Croft to £134. The same home sold Mules to £94 per life.  Blue Texels topped at £120 from Messrs Bowe, Foulsyke Farm. Suffolks topped at £115 for a pen of 25 from Steven McHale, Park House. A strong show of buyers were present for all classes of sheep.
