Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 13^th November Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  Todays trading topped at £600 for a Shorthorn bull calf from Messrs Kirkpatrick, Howthat and Charolais bulls topped at £590 from Messrs Fish, Crossrigg.  British Blues topped at £500 from first time consignor Messrs Little, Kirkbride House.  Regular consignor Messrs Livingstone, Kirtlevale sold the topped price Limousin for £500.  Black and whites topped at £230 from Messrs Vevers, High Plains.

British Blue heifers topped at £550 from Messrs Wood, Groundy Croft and Limousin sold to £450 from Irving Farming.  £450 was also achieved in the Charolais section from Messrs Fish, Crossrigg.  Angus heifers topped at £360 from Messrs Simpson, Knockcross.
