On Monday 22nd March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store and breeding sheep.
BREEDING SHEEP: A good show of ewes with lambs at foot meeting some tremendous buying power and trade once again up on the week. Texel sheep topped at £110 for a smart pen from Messrs Bowe, Midtown Farm. Other Texels sold to £106 from Messrs Jenkinson, Clifton Moor for a pen of 18 and £100 for a pen again from Messrs Bowe, Midtown. Suffolks sold to £110 from Graham Tutton, Leapsrigg with others to £102 from Messrs Graham, Miller Hill.
