Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 24^th March Harrison & Hetherington held its weekly sale of calves with an entry of 332 forward where trade continues to hold extremely well.  Topping todays sale at £625 was a cracking British Blue bull from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig Farm, Newton Stewart.   The same home also sold two Limousin bulls for £615.  This outstanding run of 10 calves sold to average £583.  Reared Black and whites continue to sell with ease regularly £250+ to a top of £330 from The Stables, Lambfield.  Young continental hold up very well with a consignment of four, 1 month of age Limousin calves selling to average £478.
