SALE OF STORE CATTLE

WEDNESDAY 27^th NOVEMBER 2024

On Wednesday 27th November H&H held their weekly sale of 428 store cattle, on the whole quality would be behind last weeks sale, trade however was nothing short of spellbinding with vendors struggling to hide their elation. The whole sale averaged an incredible £1516.51.

Bullocks averaged £1584.03 and sold to £2250 for a terrific char x bullock from Ted and Trevor Telford, High Parkfoot who broke the £2000 barrier for the first time in their farming careers .

Heifers averaged £1446.04 and sold to £2140 for a stunning lim x heifer from Messrs Paterson, Low Three Mark.  

Dairy bred stores sold very well for all sizes to a top of £1900 for a British Blue sired bullock.

Dairy breeds continue to thrive and sold to a massive £1810 for a Fleckvieh bullock from Messrs Pinguey, Haythwaite Lane
