Todays trading seen a smaller entry of a 190 calves sold through Borderway today but a fierce trade was seen throughout.

Top price today goes to Messrs Sharp, Wolsty topping at £655 for a 3 month old Charolais calf, this runs consignment averaged £555 for 6 sold. Messrs Gott, Burton Farm topped the blue bulls closely behind at £650 and Limousin bulls topped at £600 from Messrs McNabney, Barsalloch. Angus bulls met a pleasing trade at £515 from Messrs Graves, Home Farm.

Heifers met a pleasing trade once again topping at £580 from Messrs McNabney, Barsalloch and Messrs Sharp, Wolsty topped the Charolais at £540. Angus heifers topped nicely at £525 from Messrs Horsley, Whitrigg Grange.
