Borderway Store Lamb Sale

On Monday 23^rd December, Harrison & Hetherington conducted its final store lamb sale of 2024. A total of 610 were forward to a final average of £105.10. Topping the sale was a trio of Texel lambs from Messrs Lamb, Seascales, selling to £155. Mule lambs topped at £112 for a pen from S&S Jamieson, Strathaven, while Suffolk lambs topped at £117 for Messrs Armitage, Penrith. However, highlight of the day was first time consignor, John Carson, Dornells Estate who sold 200 long keep Texel and Beltex lambs to average an astonishing £123.96. Topping at £145, the same home sold a splendid pen of 37 to £138 and 16 to £131.
