CHRISTMAS POULTRY SALE

On Wednesday 22nd December, Harrison & Hetherington Limited, Carlisle held their annual festive Christmas poultry sale.  An entry of 257 birds were presented to a good ringside of buyers. 

Topping the sale at £130 was a 18.1kg Oven Ready Turkey from Messrs McCamley, Ochiltree, Cumnock, followed by £110 for a 21.5kg Oven Ready Turkey from the same home.

Small Turkeys sold to £90 for a 8kg from Messrs Platt, Bramhall Hill.

Geese sold to £100 for 5.8kg from Messrs Hoodless, Ruckcroft, Carlisle.
