On Monday 5^th April Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store and breeding sheep.

BREEDING SHEEP: Topping the trade this week was Beltex shearlings with lambs at foot at £124 a life from Messrs Anderson, Leafield, Dumfries followed by Texel Hoggs with lambs from Messrs Ramsay, Dockray Hall, Wigton at £122.

Shearlings & Lambs: Beltex £124 Leafield Texel £88 Low House.

Hoggs & Lambs: Texel £122, £113, £110 (x2), £98 Dockray Hall Suffolk £92 Dockray Hall Ryeland £92 Dockray Hall.

Ewes & Lambs: Beltex £110 Midtown Texel £102, £98 Lees Hall, £96 Midtown Suffolk £94, £86, £82 Rose Farm Greyfaced £78 Hesket Demain, £76 Low House.

More batches of in lamb sheep of all ages are required both in the ring and privately.
