On Monday 12th April Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of breeding sheep.
BREEDING SHEEP: Ewes and lambs were once again in short supply at Borderway but the promising weather forecast ensuring all units were very well bid for. Top price on the day was paid for 2 shearlings with twins from Messrs Norman, The Bow, Great Orton topping at £122 a life and totalling at £366 per unit. All qualities were well sought after with a much busier ring side of buyers forward ensuring all vendors highly delighted.
