On Wednesday 8th January 2025 Harrison & Hetherington opened the doors to their store cattle sale for the 2025 season , with a fantastic weekly entry of 417 head forward, a show dominated by dairy bred cattle in the region of 93% being that way bred were met with a trade that simply hasn't been witnessed in history , a whole sale average of £1711.10 being achieved , with 53 cattle selling over £2000 and 134 over £1800 with 27 vendors averaging over £1800 and 9 over £2000, leading the sale today at £2440 was a Beef Shorthorn bullock from Messrs Magney, Greenwrae, Annan with heifers selling to £2260 for a Limousin from Messrs Mounsey, Wardhall Guards, Aspatria.
