Kirkby Stephen OTM & Cast Cows

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their sale of Cast & OTM Cattle on Monday.

Topping the sale at £1484.05 was a seven year old 886kg Limousin cross cow which made 167.5p/kg from Messrs Smithson, Bloan Farm, Brough Sowerby.

Topping at 177.5p/kg was a British Blue cross cow from Mrs J. Wearmouth, Martindale Farm, Crosby Garrett.

Messrs Batty, Dry Evers, Maulds Meaburn sold a five year old British Blue cross Holstein cow to make £1419.55.

All classes of cast cows continued with a roaring trade, and every type and breed of cows can be sold to a massive advantage in the live ring at the current time!.
