On Wednesday 22nd January Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of 669 store cattle, trade shows no sign of steadying up with all classes again an unbelievable trade , despite being less flesh on show this week averages were sky high with 97 cattle selling at £2000 and beyond , top of them all was an Aberdeen Angus Bullock from Terry and Trish Johnstone , Westray Farm, Cockermouth which sold at £2480. Heifers sold to a top of £2400 for a BB x heifer from Alan and Judith Twentyman, Osborne Farm , Wigton who's run averaged £2266.67 with 14 vendors averaging over the magical £2000.
