Borderway Store and Breeding Sheep Sale

On Monday 10th February, Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs and breeding sheep in Borderway Mart. 

The numbers keep coming and the trade keeps getting better! 817 head averaged £119.85.

STORE HOGGS: Store hoggs sold to £166 for a pair of Texels from R & J Watson, Croglin Low Hall. MS & HJ Armstrong, Town Head sold a pen of 5 Dutch Texels to £159. Beltex’s sold to £154 from JA & D Kirkby, Ashley Grove. B & H Spencer, Duball sold a pair of Texels to £152. Messrs Stewart & Co, Halldykes sold a pen of 3 Texels to £146. R & J Watson, Croglin Low Hall sold a pen of 34 Texels to £139.  Suffolks sold to £131 from B & P Wheatley, Home Farm. 48 pens sold in excess of £120 per head.
