Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 5^th May Harrison & Hetherington held its weekly sale of calves with another cracking entry of 340 forward with some fantastic runs on offer.  Topping todays sale at £680 was a British Blue bull from Messrs Gardhouse, Aikton House.  An outstanding run of calves from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig sold his run of 10 British Blues and Angus to average £578.50.  Strong Black and Whites continue to sell with ease with reared calves regularly selling £200 plus and sold to a top of £400.  Younger continental calves would be slightly easier on the week however New Zealands bred calves continue to sell to great rates.
