Borderway Store Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 12th March Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of 341 store cattle.  With the tax year end looming numbers are proving difficult to secure, especially as trade knows no boundaries and will do nothing to help you against the taxman as week on week these cattle just get dearer and dearer and dearer. £2000 is now not a hurdle to jump it's the starting blocks, todays top was £2620 for an Aberdeen Angus from Messrs Storey, Tinnis Hall who also topped the heifers at £2450 for Limousins selling 10 to average £2328.  Top consignment today went to Messrs Hewetson,  Lords Close who made a return to Borderway to sell 4 to average £2485
