EWES  ‘As numbers start to dry up the demand for Cast Sheep seems stronger than ever!.  A poorer show on quality was seen with the majority of the sale being light hill ewes which met the best demands.  All types being easily sold’

A lesser show in quality and numbers on offer today but an unbelievable trade for all types especially the lighter hill types of ewes.  Topping the sale was £290 was a Texel from W.A Penny, Harehead.  Following her at £275 was again a Texel from the same home.
