On Monday 16th June Harrison and Hetherington held its weekly sale of Store and Breeding sheep saw a very varied show of quality.  Topping the sale at £202 per head was an outstanding Pure Texel with a big strong ewe lamb at foot from Ioan Jones, Green Bank, Kirkby  Stephen. J Bromwell & Sons, Quarry House sold a great run of ¾ Texel shearling with Beltex lambs at foot topping at £174/life for a pen of 4 with singles.  Hoggs with lambs at foot sold to £161 per life for a pen of 5 Suffolks with single Texel cross lambs from T Edmondson, High Mansriggs, Ulverton.  A & S MacDonald, Boweshield sold a 2 shear Dutch spotted with an ewe lambs at foot to £150 per life.  Mules sold to £118 per life from H Gardhouse, Cowgate.  Aged Cheviot ewes with twin Suffolk lambs sold to £81 per life for a pen of 30 from Scott McGill, Kerricks Farm, Dumfries.
