At Wooler on Wednesday 19^th May Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 416 prime sheep comprising 187 Lambs, 108 Hoggs and 121 Cast Ewes and Rams

All classes of stock selling very well with a ring of enthusiastic buyers

A better show of flesh met demand from Butchers and Wholesalers.

Cast Ewes:

A mixed bundle of cast sheep again sold to a solid trade throughout, with a ringside of buyers keen for all sorts

A superb Texel ewe from R & J Barber Farms, Newham Hall Farm topped trade at £177, whilst again tups sold well with a pair of strong Suffolks attaining £163 a head from Kypie
