Borderway Store Cattle Sale

On Wednesday 2nd July 2025 Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of 210 store cattle, despite the bluetongue restrictions coming into place a pleasing entry for the time of year was presented to amazingly an enhanced ringside of buyers , this resulted in a big jump in trade with bullocks averaging back over £2000 and a sale average of £1960 with plenty of lesser types forward, leading the sale at £2560 was a Simmental bullock from Messrs Thompson, Wood Head. Heifers sold to £2500 for a beautiful yearling from Messrs Thomlinson Standingstonerigg with yearling Charolais bullocks from Messrs Bell Low House selling to £2450.
