Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 23rd July Harrison and Hetherington held its weekly sale of calves.  £850 was top price today from Messrs Furlong, Ridley Farm for a 11 day’s old bull calf.  T & J Airey, New Grange topped the Angus bulls at £820 and £790 (x2).  Penrith farmer Messrs Armstrong, Blunderfield East topped the Blues at £765.  Black and whites were up to £415 from Vevers Ltd.  Heifers achieved £810 from Messrs Gott, Burton House and also £775 from this good home.  Messrs Sherwen, Tarn House was up to £755.  Messrs Airey, New Grange topped the Angus at £670.
