Borderway Breeding Sheep Sale

At Borderway Mart on Monday 24^th May, Harrison & Hetherington held their sale of breeding sheep where a quieter show was seen with trade much sharper throughout.

Topping the day was Messrs Armstrong, Town Head, Walton selling a pen of Texel cross hoggs with tremendous Dutch Texel cross lambs at foot to £140 per head with their whole consignment going on to average £134 per head. 

All continental hoggs were very well bid for with more required for demand however Mule hoggs are proving harder to sell at present.
