Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 6^th August Harrison and Hetherington held its weekly sale of calves.  Top price today was a Limousin bull from Messrs Bowes, Harbarrow Farm, topping at £900 and this home also topped the Angus at £820.  Messrs Elwen, Netherfield was up to £810 in the Blue Section.  Messrs Irving, Brunt Hill was up to £800 for a Limousin bull and Nether Pratis Farming was up to £490 for Black & whites.

Heifers from Thackwood Farm, were up to £790 and £750.  Messrs Graham, Laws Hall at £700 for Blue heifers.  Messrs Raven, Crookdake Hall was at £695 for a Blue heifer and Nether Pratis sold three Limousin heifers at £645.
