On Monday 11^th August Harrison and Hetherington conducted its weekly store lamb sale selling 980 head. Trade would be slightly easier than previous weeks saw good well bred lambs a similar trade and smaller long keep lambs harder to cash. Topping the sale at £147 was black dorpers from A & S MacDonald, Boweshield. VJ Edgar, Low Longlands sold a smart texel to £145. GB Forster, Desoglin sold a great Texel/Beltex cross lambs topping at £142 for a pen of 60 Texel x Mules to £128. Coltpark Farms, Rothbury sold a pen of long keep Suffolk x Lambs to £104. Mules sold to £96 for a pen of 50 from J J James, Midtodhills.
