Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart Held Their Weekly Sale Of Prime Sheep On Tuesday Evening when 444 store lambs where forward.

Topping at £135 where a pen of six Texel cross lambs from Messrs Thexton, Castlethwaite, Kirkby Stephen.

Suffolk cross lambs topped at £214 for a pen of fifteen from Messrs Peters, Waterloo Farm, Grantham.

A packed ringside of store lamb buyers gathered here at Kirkby Stephen with frenzied  bidding resulting in an overall sale average of £113.91 for predominantly long term keep and commercial show of store lambs that where on offer.
