Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 2^nd June Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their sale of young calves with an entry of 312 forward and yet again another strong show considering the take up in weather.  Topping today’s sale at £580 were 3 cracking British Blue bulls from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig.  This regular consignor sold his run of 10 Continental calves to average £536.  British Friesian sold to a top of £280 from Messrs Nash, Philgowan.  A fantastic run of 27 young Montbelairde calves to average £240.  Once again calves continue to sell with ease and more can always be sold
