Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store and breeding sheep. A small selection of Breeding Ewes sold to £220 twice firstly for a pair of 2 Crop Texels and again for a pen of 4 1crop Texel X Llyen ewes from S Hornby, Lagganmore, Portpatrick.

Store lambs would be a better show on the week and attracting a strong ringside of buyers. Lambs with frame and reasonably short keep types remain the best to sell. Topping the sale at £144 was a pen of 8 smart Beltex crosses from KC & JH Park, Cowranside, the same home sold a pen of 4 Beltex crosses to £141. Suffolks sold to £130 for a pen of 9 from HS Dean, Talkin Head. R & Y Willison, Bybeck sold a great consignment of Texel cross lambs topping at £130 for a pair, £128 for a pen of 12 and £127 for a pen of 8. N & K Gill, Moory Lea sold a pen of 62 Texel crosses to £125. T S Brass, Espland sold a pen of Texel cross Llyen lambs to £124 and a pen of good skinned long keep texel crosses to £116. Cheviot Mule lambs sold to £106 from A Scott, Dalston. Mules sold to £100 for a pen of 16 from W & PF Walton, Penpeugh.
