Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 17th September Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves.  Top price today was £1155 from Messrs Graham, Laws Hall, Longtown for a Blue bull.  Messrs Kirkpatrick, Nether Place had two calves selling £950 twice and a Simmental calf to £930.  Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower was up to £880 and £860 for Blue bulls.  Heifers topped at £880 for a Pure Blue heifer from Messrs Pattinson, Temon Farm and Limousin heifers to £810 from Messrs Kirkpatrick, Nether Place.  Messrs Graham, Law Hall had a great consignment of Blue heifers  to £800 (x4).  Black and white bulls topped at £500 from Messrs Sherwen, Greenmoorside and £495 for Fisher Farming, Longtown.

On Wednesday 24^th September we look forward to welcoming our Scottish purchasers back to Borderway.
