At Borderway Mart on Monday 7th June, Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of breeding and store sheep.
All classes were very well sought after with a strong demand especially for Mule and hoggs with lambs at foot.
Top price of the sale was paid for a quality run from Messrs Browell, Quarry House with a pen of hoggs and lambs selling to £156 per life and their following pen sold for £143.
First cross hoggs also sold very well with a quality run of Texel cross hoggs selling up to £137 a life and averaged out at £116.57 including twins.
