On Wednesday 9^th October at Lazonby Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held their second sale of mule gimmer lambs in Lazonby Market which saw an entry of 4036 forward. It was a case of commeth the grass commeth the trade as prices soared with a new wave of demand and a packed ringside seeing an average of £140.54 which is up £26 on the year. The pre sale judging was carried out by Mr R Hodgson, Glassonby who selected Messrs Lords, The Bog as his 1^st prize pen which led the days trade at £245. A strong demand is still seen and all Mule Ewe lambs are needed privately or for our next sale.
