Borderway Suckled Calves

On Wednesday 22^nd October Harrison and Hetherington held their Suckled calf sale where a great show of 208 was forward with buyers coming together to make sure the trade was good throughout.

Messrs Dent, Beamwham run of cattle topped at £2240 for a 9 month old British Blue x heifer and two 9 month old Limousin x bullocks sold for £2020.  Messrs Inman, Kilnknowe sold a Limousin x bullock for £2100.  Messrs Cowan, The Ash sold a 9 month old Limousin x bullock for £2060.  Messrs Ackerley, Milton Mains sold a 9 month old Limousin x heifer for £1920 and a 7 month old Charolais x sold for £1820.
