On Monday 3rd November Harrison & Hetherington held its weekly sale of store lambs with trade remaining strong. A sale average of £103.92 being achieved. Topping was a Texel lamb from Caleb Todhunter, Greyrigg. Beltex lambs topped at £144 from T Howard, Lees Hill. Mules sold to a top price of £105 for 21 from Andrew Stainton, Croglin. Suffolks topped at £130 from Messrs Bell, Cockermouth. Longer keep lambs would see the biggest rise on the week.
