Borderway Store Cattle Sale

This week’s store cattle sale saw a good rise on the week both in terms of numbers and prices, 454 head were forward this week with an overall average of £2015.45 for a very mixed show of cattle. A magnificent run of cattle from Todd Farming, Lincolnshire topped the sale at £2820 for British Blue cross steers with others to £2750, £2740 and £2720 to level at £2515.59 for 21 bullocks and heifers. Heifers sold to £2650 for a strong Limousin cross from Messrs Grice, Newtown, Carlisle.
