Borderway Store Lamb Sale

On Monday 24^th November the weekly sale of Store lambs took place in Borderway.  A much increased entry forward saw a sale average of £110.78 being achieved. 

Topping the sale went to John Eve, Stubbsgill selling a single Beltex lamb to £147; the same home sold pairs to £144 &£143.  Texel lambs topped at £130 for Neil Slack, Plumtree, Edward Dean, Kirkhouse sold a smart pen to £129. Mules topped at £109 from Messrs Linton, Lockerbie. Messrs Livesey, Melrose sold a superb pen of 34 EasyCare ram lambs to £116 and Roussin tup lambs to £114.  Many lambs can be marketed here in Borderway with buyers looking for all classes of lambs
