On Monday 15^th December Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of Store lambs at Borderway Market. A stronger show forward with an increase in short & long term lambs. A total average of £110.61 was achieved with top price going to a single Beltex lamb for £142 from Trevor Harrison, Lesson Hall. Messrs Lumsdon, Greengate Well came with 24 superb Texel lambs topping at £140 for a pair and sold to average £133.54. Messrs Armstrong, Shankfield Head brought 42 Texel & Mule lambs going to average £124.43 this home sold a superb pen of mules to £122. Suffolk lambs topped at £129 from Messrs Milburn, Wallend and Dutch Texel lambs topped at £130 for 9. Messrs Mounsey, Ashfield. A reminder next Monday is out final store lamb sale of the year.
