On Monday 22^nd December Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of Store lambs at Borderway Market. A total sale average of £108.13 was achieved to a strong ringside of buyers. To0ppign the sale was a Dutch Spotted lamb from Messrs Richardson, Carlisle selling to £144 on two occasions. Texel lambs topped at £126 from Messrs Roper, Cleaton Moor. Beltex Lambs topped at £130 for 9 fromn Messrs Campbell, Carsewalloch. Messrs Dixon, Winny Hill sold a pen of 49 texel mules to £118 and Messrs Wheatly, Penrith sold 20 to £120.
