CHRISTMAS POULTRY

A packed ringside of purchasers full of festive cheer saw feathers flying with turkeys hitting record highs!!

With 83 forward, more could well have been sold to Vendors advantage.

Highlight of the sale was a 27 lb turkey from Messrs Brown, Stoneypath fetching £205, closely followed at £200 from Messrs Napier, Burnhead for 29 lbs

Overall oven ready turkeys averaged £117.28 or £7.35 per lb
