“Grass fever at Lockerbie hits, better late than never”

A small but quality show of cattle at Lockerbie sold extremely well with all classes dearer than the previous sale with the new auctioneer in the rostrum.  Bullocks sold to 278.3ppk for a pen of 5 Charolais from Mr R Johnston, Kimmeter Green, with Limousin heifers from Mr D Wilson, Belzies selling to 247.8ppk.  Limousin bullocks sold to £1125 from Messrs Lockhart, Greenbeck with heifers to £1135 from Mr D Wilson, Belzies.

The next sale is the dispersal of heifers and stock cows and calves on 22^nd June 2021 from Messrs D & R Cornthwaite, Balgray Hill - a sale not to be missed if you need some quality breeding stock.
