May Fair Pedigree Sheep Sale

It was a triple top trade at Carlisle, with the sale peaking at 2000gns on three occasions!

Topping the trade first was a standout weaned ram lamb from the Milltown Flock – Milltown Iron Man (ET). Sired by Drumhard Harrison and out of Diamond Felicity, this powerful lamb made the journey from Northern Ireland a rewarding one for breeder Tommy Jackson, he sold to the Himmon flock of Messrs Riggs, Dorset.

Next to hit the 2000gns mark was C-View Iconic Lady offered by Oliver Watson of the C-View Flock. A stylish weaned ewe lamb, is a daughter of the 10,000gn Milltown Hank the Tank and out of the well-regarded C-View Fanta, she joins Messrs Dean, North Yorkshire.

Also achieving 2000gns was Barquhill Haven (ET), a smart shearling gimmer presented by M & R McCormick. She is by Westbroad Diego and out of Glencoy Destiny, she sold to Messrs Morton, Penrith.

Ram lambs were in high demand with second top price going to J Whiteford of the BlackJack Flock for Blackjack I am Titanium (ET), with the hammer dropping at 1500gns and sold to consortium of Dumfriesshire breeders, Hannah and Ali Jackson and Callum and Ali Dodd.

Milltown Hey Girl, again from Tommy Jackson sold to the next best of 1400gns, she is a daughter of Merryboro Grafter out of Diamond Felicity, she sold to the Lode Pit flock of Messrs Whitham, West Yorkshire.
