Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 21st January Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves at Borderway with 312 forward.  A slightly poorer show but the trade still remaining favourable.  Messrs Robinson, Burtholme Farm, Brampton topped the sale at £905 with a strong Aberdeen Angus bull.  Topping the Limousin section was Messrs Morris, Greengatehouse, Lockerbie with a 2 month old bull at £900.  British Blues topped at £890 from Messrs Threlkeld, Ladywells.

Limousin heifers topped at £820 from Messrs Robinson, Burtholme Farm, Brampton.  Same vendor had an Aberdeen Angus at £745.  The Holsteins topped at £600 from Messrs Wilson, Marsh House, Wigton.
